How two little people want to sail around one big world

Circumnavigation in the footsteps of captain Cook

Approximately 30,000 nautical miles to go.
The journey will take at least 5 years.

Our Plan

Our goal is simple. We would like to circumnavigate the world on board of our own sailboat. We are a couple of two adventurers and eternal dreamers longing for life full of freedom under sail. And that is why we have decided to sell all our belongings and buy our very first boat with which we want to sail around the world.

Our great quest will begin with a voyage across the whole Europe: we will start in the Mediterranean, where we will get to know our new sailboat and collect the necessary experience. Then we will set out on a journey towards Gibraltar, from where we will head north, and after a short stop at Island, we will move towards the Canary Islands where our first great test shall begin: the crossing of the Atlantic.

We are planning to stop for a while in the West Indies and get ready for a long journey across the Pacific, where we will follow Captain Cook’s footsteps to Tahiti, Kingdom of Tonga and Vanuatu archipelago. After that, we’re on to New Zealand and Australia’s coral coastline, from where we can reach the Indian Ocean via Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Sri Lanka. From the Maldives, we head for the Chagos Islands, and visit the lemurs of Madagascar. Then we set a course for Cape Town and St. Helen, until we finally make it back to Europe.

We are no seasoned sailors, and by completing our voyage, we would like to prove that anyone willing to chase their dream can achieve it. Now we train on charter boats and work hard to achieve our goal as well. We are also looking for sponsors and kindred adventurers who would be willing to support us through Patreon, Starter, or Kickstarter, where we have prepared gifts in the form of watercolour pictures, travel photos, or T-shirts.

You can also join our crew for a while. You will enjoy an unforgettable yacht holiday and help us to sail a little further . . .

Where will we go first

Our adventure will begin with a voyage across Europe from Greece to Norway and Iceland, from where we will sail towards the Canary Islands, where our great adventure, the voyage around the world, shall begin.

About Us

Ahoy! We are a couple, life partners, best friends, soulmates. Our names are Patrick and Aneta. Together we decided to do what really makes us happy and by that making our big dream come true. We both love travelling, learning about other cultures, and discovering new places. And that’s why we have decided to sell all our belongings and buy our very first boat with which we want to sail around the world.
At the moment, we are actively training on chartered sailboats and looking for ways to finance our round-the-world voyage.

Where you can find and support us

For everyone supporting us for example on Patreon, Kickstarter, or Startovač, we have prepared beautiful gifts such as watercolour pictures painted by Anetka from our travels, T-shirts and other merch.
Travelling brings people together, which is why we would like to offer you the opportunity to join our crew for a while on our round-the-world trip and enjoy an unforgettable holiday while supporting our project.
